Restaurant Hotel Schworer in Lenzkirch

we stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Schwarzwald to go hiking. Our stay was good. The staff are friendly, the room was clean and nice. There was also the included “Schwarzwald card” to get discounts when you visit the Badeparadies, ride the Rodelbahn and get free rides with the bus around the town. Would highly recommended the place!

Very bad please don't order here save your vacation. This "so called hotel " asked as to cancel the reservation at 21.30 as you know at 22.00 is the last time to check in all the black forest. We are family with 3 small children (2.5.7) We all have covid-19 negative test for the last 48 hours. there is no reason to ask us to cancel the reservation "and do it quickly because i can still sell the room he said". We were shocked we stop in the side of road in the middle of the highway Its booking.com not refundable reservation if we cancel we lose all the money 270 Euro so we are standing in the middle of the highway calling booking.com to help us stay in this place for the night it took more than 1 hour of waiting booking.com answer from this place. We could not take it anymore the kids are screaming we drove back 50 minutes to Novotel hotel in Freiburg until filing all the form and showing them the negative test and get the room it was 1:00 at night. Then this "place"send us a message "you did not cancel the reservation I charge you the full amount 270euro " this is not an act of normal human being this is an act of greedy place all he care about is money. Then we heard we were lucky not to stay in this place they had a major coronavirus spread and the police close them. I hope people will learn from our bad experience with this place and save their vacation by booking any other place

Very welcoming, clean hotel. Service is great even when they are busy.

Very pleasant hotel and very welcoming staff. We stayed with our kids for six days in a suite, two separate rooms with separate showers. The rooms are very clean and modern. The breakfast was simple but very nice. Because there are very few places in the area to eat, we had dinner in the hotel and it was very tasty. There is also "red card" free entrance that you get for staying at the hotel and it's VERY useful! There are many attractions that you get for free!

great meat dishes that we enjoyed a lot. the salads are not uo to that standard and we waited too long for the main dishes. good potential.
